Mapendo is a technology company at the forefront of digital marketing, offering enterprise solutions for growth to brands and media across mobile channels. We have a worldwide reach, each month serving clients in more than 20 countries and reaching around 2.5 billion people every month with our ads.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our expanding team as a Mobile Advertising Business Development Intern. Our ideal candidate will show a deep interest in technology, media and advertising. The essential functions of this job will include market outreach, sales abilities and negotiation skills.

Duration

4 months. Start date is ASAP. We are looking for someone to eventually continue the journey after the internship.

Responsibilities

Create and manage a pipeline of prospective opportunities.
Generate a high volume of sales-related activity, including outreach, negotiation, and proposal.
Grow our in-app CPI and CPA business.
Develop a list of prospects in fintech & travel/transportation industries for in-app & mobile web performance campaigns.
Meet and exceed monthly, and quarterly expectation for new accounts and new revenues.
Work together with our account management team on advertising activities to ensure that customers expectations are achieved.
Represent Mapendo during industry events and trade fairs.

Qualifications

Full Professional Proficiency in English.
Solid knowledge of the performance advertising market.
Excellent communication skills.
BS/BA in marketing, communication, advertising or related field.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other analytics and reporting systems.
