Mapendo is a tech platform for mobile performance advertising. Based out of Italy we operate in around 20 countries thanks to an international team.
We are looking for a Media Buyer to join the team. You will ensure that our advertising activities reach the desired audiences and our targets while staying within the budget. We are looking for someone who has a strong experience buying traffic for digital performance campaigns. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing online advertising campaigns through DSP and various display and social channels.
Occasionally you might be also in charge of managing the process of creation of creativities and landing pages, together with a dedicated team.
To narrow down our search we have some questions for you:
- Have you been working with platforms such as Propeller, Zeropark? If yes, could you name a few others you know or have experience with?
- Have you ever run campaigns through an affiliate platform?
- Are you able to run CPA/CPS campaigns on the Google display network?
- Have you ever been using tools such as lead pages or similar?
If you answered yes to at least three of the above questions you might be the person we’re looking for.
We are welcoming remote working but, from time to time, we will ask you to join our team in the office, at our HQ in the heart of Bologna.
Obviously we also have a list of formal responsibilities and requirements:
- Help identify target audiences and plan media campaigns
- Compare and negotiate rates, ad space with supply providers
- Optimize plans and budgets according to the best media mix
- Prepare schedules and adjust when needed
- Experiment with new platforms and channels
- Ensure ads are creative, complying and displayed appropriately
- Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI)
- Report to clients and build long-term relationships
- Proven experience as Media Buyer or similar role; experience in digital media is preferred
- Familiarity with media-buying, planning, and research
- Interest in following advertising and media trends
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Advertising or related field
- Fluency in English, any other language is a plus
